A Journey of Healing, Connection, and Becoming Whole Again.
Malaïa was born during a time of deep transformation, offering me a refuge amidst life’s uncertainties.
What started as a personal sanctuary has now become a space for collective healing, connection, and rediscovering the light within us.
Malaïa was created at a time in my life when everything was shifting. I had to leave behind the life I knew, step into the unknown, and take on a role I never imagined—becoming a caregiver for my mom as she faced her health struggles. It was a time of deep change, uncertainty, and loss. And in the midst of it all, Malaïa became my refuge. A space that brought me back to myself, even if just for fleeting moments.
I never planned for it to become more than just a virtual sanctuary—a place where I could share what helped me process my emotions, how I balanced caring for my mom while still trying to find a moment to breathe. But without realizing it, my path unfolded in a way I never expected. Turning to yoga, seeking deeper connection within myself, finding a safe space amidst the chaos—it became something so much bigger than I could have imagined.
Through the past 4 years, I connected with incredible people from all over the world. And what amazes me is that while we come from different places, different cultures, and different stories, at our core, we are all so similar. In women’s circles, in retreats, in intimate moments of sharing, I’ve witnessed how we all carry our own battles. Yet, when we come together, something powerful happens—we heal, collectively.
Losing my mom left wounds that I know will never fully disappear. But it made me question—do we ever truly heal? Or is life a continuous dance between pain and joy, between loss and rediscovery? Maybe healing isn’t about reaching an end. Maybe it’s about learning to move through it all, like the waves of the ocean, letting ourselves be carried, and choosing our path between infinite possibilities.
What I truly wish to do is hold space for this—to bring people together, to help one another rediscover the light and hope that may have been lost or buried deep inside. Sometimes, all we need is a little guidance, a reminder that we are not alone. And if Malaïa can be that space, even in the smallest way, then I am endlessly grateful.
We are not meant to walk this journey alone. And together, we can find our way back to the light.
